Varulv . myspace

Varulv started as an idea in 2005 by Kent and Julian. In a time where the leading musical inspiration had been focused on death-metal through Unspoken, the thought of a black-metal project, seemed like a necessity. The idea behind Varulv was to create an atmosphere with inspiration from the Norse wilderness, ancient mythology and lycanthropy, combined with fascination for anti-religious, anti-industrial and misanthropic thoughts.
In 2006, Haakon was included in the project, and when Frank (Asaru) joined shortly after, the project had been set in motion. Sebastian (Asaru) joined in 2007, and three songs and an instrumental cover were made and recorded during the cold beginning of 2008.
Since all members had their main bands to focus on, the Varulv-tapes were put aside until 2010 when the songs were remixed for a final release.
