Hue (Matteo Uggeri) è attivo musicalmente dal 1994 con vari pseudonimi che racchiudono diverse attitudini artistiche, tra cui Der Einzige e Normality/Edge (noise, industrial, sperimentale - per quel che possono significare queste classificazioni) e Sparkle in Grey (elettronica malinconica mescolata a fields recordings).
Nel corso degli anni ha approfondito la collaborazione con vari musicisti: da sempre con i Norm, in un gruppo dalla line-up quasi tradizionale, votato a mescolanze tra la new-wave la sperimentazione più spinta; ultimamente con altri musicisti come De Fabriek, Ether, Nicola Ratti, MB, OvO e Telepherique, ad esempio, per remix e altri intrecci.
Il suo disco più recente (2006), Un'estate senza pioggia (pubblicato da Trazeroeuno e Grey Sparkle), mescola field recordings e suoni malinconici di chitarre elettriche ed acustiche, elettronica vagamente glitch e strumenti vari (organetto, didgeridoo...), suonati da amici e collaboratori come Aal, Giuseppe Verticchio e altri.

Hue has made music since 1994. He’s experimented with various music types under different names and projects. Amongst them: Der Einzige and Normality/Edge (noise, industrial, experimental music - for what this might mean) and Sparkle in Grey (melancholy electronic music and field recordings).
Over the years he’s collaborated with many musicians. Since the early days he’s been the core of Norm, a band with an almost ‘traditional’ line up that blends music such as new-wave and weird experimental sounds, but he’s also worked with other artists such as De Fabriek, Ether, Nicola Ratti, MB, OvO e Telepherique, on remixes and other projects.
His most recent one-man project Sparkle in Grey has now become a band that mixes electronic music, concrete sounds and post-rock.
His latest release (2006) is Un’estate senza pioggia (A rainless summer, published by Trazerouno and Grey Sparkle). It combines field recordings, the melancholy sounds of acoustic and electric guitars, glitch electronics and various other instruments (organ, didgeridoo…) played by friends and collaborators such as Aal, Giuseppe Verticchio and many others.
